Resolutions like “I’m going to be healthier” or “I’m going to save a money” are certainly cute, but these objectives are nearly impossible to stick to. SO, here’s what we’re going to do instead (the best part- we don’t have to cut back on carbs or have less fun ).

And we’re definitely not going to fall into the trap of assuming that everything will be magically different starting on January 1st- because get real!! HAS THAT EVER WORKED? EVER? Exactly. This year we’re not going to make the same typical New Year’s resolutions we always make, we’re not going to set arbitrary goals to “be happier” and “get in shape” just because that’s what everyone else is doing.

So throughout the past year I’ve learned some tips I would like to share to help you not fall victim to the resolution cliche. To date I’ve accomplished 24 with some still in progress and some nearing completion. You see I have been on a mission for the past year working on a list of 30 resolutions, my 30 to-do’s. This year however, it’s time to shake things up with some goals you can achieve, and I’m just the gal to help. The sad truth is, the vast majority of New Year’s resolutions are abandoned within a few weeks- actually only 8% of those who make them, stick to them. They’re the resolutions that seem to appear on our long list every year, despite the fact that we know perfectly well we’re never going to go through with them. Perhaps you want to spend less money, pay off your credit card bill, be a better friend, or even spend less time on social media. Let me guess, you want to lose weight in 2015, or maybe just eat healthier.
